After a trip to Japan in November of 2019 I am trying to paint some of the beautiful autumn trees and leaves that we saw while we were there. The Japanese News in November has a daily leaf report about which areas are approaching the maximum red for "Momiji" or autumn maple viewing. Our best viewing was in Takayama in the Japan alps and in Kyoto at Eikan-do.
